By using this app

You agree to these terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not use Bondi. We may update these terms from time to time.

Age requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use Bondi. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Not professional advice

AI companions are for entertainment and general conversation only. They are not qualified therapists, doctors, lawyers, or financial advisors. Never rely on AI responses for medical, legal, or financial decisions.

AI-generated content

Responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Bondi does not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of any AI-generated content.

Simulated personality

AI companions simulate personality traits and emotions. They are not sentient, do not have real feelings, and do not form genuine relationships.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Bondi to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content, attempt to bypass safety measures, or misrepresent AI-generated content as human.

Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

Content ownership

You retain ownership of content you create. AI-generated responses are provided under a limited licence for personal use. Bondi branding and code remain our property.

Service provided as-is

Bondi is provided without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated content.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — see the Suspension and Deletion sections below for what each action means for your access and data.

What suspension means

We may suspend your account if you breach these Terms, abuse the service, or compromise the safety of other users. While suspended, you cannot sign in or use the chat, games, or activities, and your active sessions on every device are revoked immediately. You can contact support@bondi.life to appeal.

Lifting a suspension

If a suspension is reviewed and reversed, your account, conversations, and data are restored exactly as they were — nothing is lost during the suspension.

Soft delete by default

When you delete your account (or an admin deletes it for cause), we mark the account as deleted and revoke every active session. Your name, email, birthday, and any other personal details are wiped from the user record. Conversation and message rows are retained in anonymised form for product-quality analytics and safety review.

Retention before permanent deletion

Anonymised conversation data is kept for up to 24 months from the deletion date, after which it is permanently purged on a rolling basis. You can request earlier permanent erasure of all associated rows by emailing privacy@bondi.life — see the Privacy Policy.

Admin actions are logged

When a staff member suspends or deletes an account, we record who took the action, when, and an optional reason in an internal audit log. The log exists for accountability and is reviewed if you appeal a suspension or deletion.
